This website serves as a hub to share best practice in sustainable construction from both the UK and Sweden.
Set up by the Swedish and UK Governments, this is an initiative to encourage sustainable construction, management and renovation. The building and property sector is responsible for a very high proportion of environmental impacts sustained in both the UK and Sweden. Environmental improvements within this sector are therefore important in the ongoing work towards achieving a sustainable society.
The initiative now focuses on a far-reaching regional cooperation between the cities of Malmo and Cambridge County Council.
It is hoped that this initiative will help to foster new joint UK-Swedish projects related to the use of environmental technologies in sustainable construction and refurbishment. If you have a case study to share, or a project in any area of building or refurbishment that needs or would benefit from an international partner, you can post details on this website (see 'Case studies' and 'Projects seeking partners').
